It's a Banana! It's a Ruler! 🍌
I am so not sure about whether or not to keep the drop-caps. I am learning all the CSS3 and HTML5 that is needed to create this site, and soon it will go live. I’m puttering around in frameworks, hovering on the edge of JavaScript, hoping to get sucked in.
I am amazed, and yet bothered at the same time, by the world outside the enclosed silo of Adobe products. I feel like the clones in The Island as they opened up the hatch and climbed out onto a mesa in the desert. Scarlett Johansson is the girl clone who is sort of like the innocent but sexy shipwrecked girl played by a moist Brooke Shields in The Blue Lagoon. The camera pans up and flies over them, as if to show them what we already know: It’s a big wide world out there. With lots of people who are not penned in by Adobe products.
Sadly, I will have to keep on donating my $50 dollars a month to them or I will have to pay off the remaining half of what’s left of my year. It’s all in the fine print, folks. 🐔
