The Electric Crazy Quilt ⚡
Well, today is the day! I am going to get this website up and running no matter how tattered it is. It will improve from this point, I hope. But what can now be seen by anyone with a screen to look through is here.
It’s sort of a big nothing, and it’s sort of world-shattering. I would like to describe the journey, but right now I don’t have time for that. Maybe once I make sure all the bits and pieces are working and once all the websites that I’d like to make are up … perhaps then I will grab some bourbon and light a fire and begin the story of how I came to this place from oh! so far away.
A few months ago I was laboring in the InDesign cubicle of small gray blobs of text that I could barely read because the type is so small on my huge screen and so far away and I can’t change anything to suit my work situation. But I labored on. It’s been almost twenty years of loyal service to Adobe, you know.
But that story will have to wait for another day, along with all the links to stuff I’d like to make sure is bookmarked here. I don’t want to stop what I’m doing, which is making sure that this site, this first stronghold of the new new clean and perky Birnes.com empire, is intact.
And is, most importantly, ALIVE. 🐔
