When you want to find some inspiration, you should go looking for other members of one of your tribes, be it at the coffeeshop or the sweat shop or the little shop on the corner that is just hanging on by a thread because: the internet. Where you’re reading these words.

Finding your shop on the internet is easy: go to YouTube and plug something into the search engine and start looking around. You’ll find your tribe doing things that might inspire you. I’m currently researching faux bois, for instance. It’s cheaper and better and it’s evolving!

Or Google something that used to give you inspiration. In my case, it was Vladimir, my beloved Vladimir. I plugged in his name in YouTube, and voilΓ ! Additional fun can be found in the comments, and gee … look at all the other fine links on the side of the page …

Inspiration, plus great distraction. That is the price you pay if you use the internet for anything. It’s a madhouse out there. So stay here, in the dappled shade beside the peaceful Primrose Creek, and let the stories take you where they wish. It’s a perpetual May right here, right now. I’m working on The Fork. Wish me a boney ride. πŸ”
