Boro Boro Boro ✁...
An example of my new mending technique, based on boro.
I think this might be one of the big secrets of life: mending things with an eye to preserving their broken parts. And not just preserving … no. Embellishing, showcasing, celebrating the links that broke under pressure and, rather than covering them up or throwing them away, this mending technique uses them to weave a new story. It’s very liberating and life-affirming. 🐔
